The PSA Group (Peugeot Citroen) has specified the requirements related to logistics processes with suppliers in the “Manuel Logistique PSA (MLP).” With PSA CORAIL, the PSA group uses a special variant of the EDIFACT message type DELJIT for forecast delivery schedules. Another special feature is the “Code Routing Number” for controlling pallets at the cross-dock. The PSA process specifics are not reflected in the SAP Standard.
With the SPEEDI PSA CALDEL solution package, PSA suppliers using SAP software can seamlessly integrate and visualize information from the PSA forecast delivery schedules together with the additional code routing data in their SAP processes. This enables IT-supported and largely automated process management in SAP ERP according to the requirements of the PSA Group. This starts with the integration of the information from forecast delivery scheduled with quantity forecasts and JIT delivery schedules, including the pickup date, CORAIL order number, and point of consumption per schedule line in the SAP scheduling agreement, and extends from issuing the advanced shipping notification to the correct labeling of the labels and forms.
SPEEDI PSA CALDEL also provides functions that determine and calculate the cumulative quantities for PSA, and map PSA-specific business rules. This is, for example, the “code-routing-pure” handling unit (HU) packaging, according to which a pallet may only contain packages with identical code routing numbers.
The PSA-specific GALIA delivery notes and ETI 9 labels in the GALIA/ODETTE standard are also stored in this SPEEDI solution package. WSW Software also provides the necessary mappings and mapping specifications for the data transformation: from PSA EDIFACT DELFOR 96A (delivery forecast) and the PSA EDIFACT DELJIT D98B (forecast delivery schedule) to the DELFOR02 IDoc, and vice versa from the SHPMNT05 and INVOIC02 IDocs to PSA EDIFACT DESADV D96A (ASN) and PSA EDIFACT INVOICE D96A (invoice/credit memo).
