Mass Update for Sales Documents

Adopt changes in scheduling agreements more easily

It can be very annoying for SAP users if they have to transfer the changes for several scheduling agreements or individual orders individually and manually. The SAP standard does not offer such mass updates to the extent that would be necessary. SAP enhancements can bring a great increase in efficiency here and reduce errors at the same time.

Simplify mass changes in your SAP system

Suppliers often regularly supply customers with partial quantities of similar products or components over a period of years. In the SAP environment, the SD scheduling agreement is usually used for this process. Experience shows that some parameters - unloading point, person in charge - change over a longer period of time, usually for several scheduling agreements. In SAP ERP, each individual SD scheduling agreement has to be processed manually, if necessary also individual orders that are affected by these changes.
The SAP standard does offer a transaction for mass changes, but it is very cumbersome and only covers a subset of document types.

Changes to content in SD scheduling agreements and individual orders must sometimes be made manually, which costs time and is prone to errors. Here it is recommended to use SPEEDI Mass Update Sales Documents.

The solution greatly simplifies and streamlines the transfer of changes to SD scheduling agreements and individual orders, as well as to quotations and contracts, which can also be performed in a single program run if required, saving additional time and costs.

Scope of functions

The user interface of SPEEDI Mass Update Sales Documents consists of two tabs. In a selection screen, you can limit the documents in the SD scheduling agreements and the individual orders that are affected by a change. The selected documents are clearly visualized in an ALV list. If an update is imminent, you can select in the list for which documents a change will be made and for which not.

In a second tab, the fields whose contents need to be changed are entered via F4 help function, together with the current information. If there is no SAP master data yet, the new values can be entered directly. Otherwise, current master data information from the SAP material or customer master must be used. In the SPEEDIsolution, you can also create a list that displays the old and new values for each field.

The number of fields that can be changed is specified by customizing; furthermore, SAP authorization objects can be used to specify which fields an end user is allowed to change.
