Zollner complements SAP ERP standard with smart SPEEDI-solutions

Especially in logistics processing and communication with customers, suppliers and external service providers (EDL), the SAP standard cannot always fully cover the complex processes at Zollner. Transparency in consignment processing

The solution SPEEDI Zollner uses EDL intensively for the communication exchange in the consignment process with its suppliers (MM EDL) - around 200 suppliers are connected - and also customers (SD EDL).

SPEEDI complements the SAP standard by completely and transparently mapping all transaction types in accordance with VDA 4913: from goods receipt, stock, damage, loss and delivery notifications.

Recognize deviations in delivery call-offs at an early stage

If a Zollner customer calls off less or more than the agreed delivery quantity within the scope of delivery call-offs and this is not recognized at an early stage, this can cause additional costs and have a negative impact on the supply chain processes.

The solution used SPEEDI Tolerance line check provides a remedy here. It automatically compares the data of incoming delivery call-offs or JIT delivery schedules with those from previous call-offs as soon as they are entered into the SAP software.

The result is clearly visualized on a monitor; traffic light functions immediately signal to the responsible processor whether a call-off quantity falls below or exceeds the specified limits.

Analyze the development of retrieval behavior

With the solution SPEEDI analysis of call-off behavior, Zollner goes one step further and analyzes the development of its customers' call-off behavior (delivery, detailed and planned call-offs) across delivery schedules over longer periods of time.

And at a high level of detail: the analysis is carried out either in relation to customers or products as well as on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.

The aggregated view shows whether the customer's call-off behavior has changed "gradually" over a longer period of time.

End-to-end IT-supported route process management

From incorporating the third-party delivery into the SD scheduling agreement to forwarding the call-offs to the third-party supplier and posting the goods issue ...

With the use of the solution SPEEDI Zollner eliminates the need for manual work steps. 

As soon as the delivery or JIT delivery schedules have been incorporated into the SAP scheduling agreement, the SPEEDI sends an outgoing delivery call-off based on a third-party message and sends it immediately to the third-party supplier, even if Zollner changes the delivery schedule manually.

Shipping processes - all transactions on one interface

The shipping process up to complete dispatch is very cumbersome and time-consuming in the SAP standard, as several individual transactions have to be run through.

Zollner relies here on the SPEEDI Shipping cockpit. The solution bundles the individual process steps from picking and transport processing to invoicing in a single, easy-to-use interface. This saves users time and stress.

Simply copy scheduling agreements

The SAP standard does not provide a copy or move function for scheduling agreements. New scheduling agreements must be created manually, which is extremely time-consuming and error-prone.
