stoba increases transparency in orders on hand

SAP-based add-on YODA provides real-time key figures

With the replacement of the legacy ERP system and the new introduction of SAP ERP in 2018, stoba faced the challenge of mapping reliable key figures on orders on hand. This was a function that had previously been performed by the legacy system and was not adequately covered in SAP ERP. 

stoba was looking for an SAP add-on that would process all order backlog data in real time and make it available for visualization in the existing non-SAP business intelligence (BI) tool.

stoba Präzisionstechnik, headquartered in Backnang, Germany, specializes in the development and manufacture of high-precision metallic components and assemblies used in the automotive industry, medical technology and consumer products, among others. The company is part of the stoba Group and has seven locations and 1,100 employees on three continents.

Evaluate order backlog history to better assess daily changes

We decided on the YODA add-on because it met all the requirements from the business departments and we already had very good experience with the SPEEDI tools from WSW Software. For example, the SPEEDI EDL tool, which provides excellent support for our consignment process with functions that are not available in SAP ERP. YODA was completely installed and set up on the stoba system in a very short time.
