Renault CINDI

The right solution for your requirements

Renault and Dacia are standardizing the identification of deliveries in Europe with the CINDI (Common Identification Number for Delivery Improvement) procurement process. CINDI is intended to increase delivery reliability, facilitate follow-up deliveries, prevent advance deliveries and enable goods to be received without quantity checks for certain parts. To this end, Renault / Dacia provides delivery schedules with a RAN (Release Authorization Number), which suppliers must incorporate into the SAP delivery schedule and report back in the EDI delivery notification or on a paper delivery bill. In addition, Renault-Nissan is currently restructuring transportation processing with its suppliers, who will receive three DELJIT messages in the future.


Automated delivery schedule processing according to the manufacturer's requirements

The special process features of the CINDI process at Renault / Dacia, but also in the restructured Renault-Nissan transport processing, are not reflected in the SAP standard. The remedy here is the OEM solution SPEEDI Renault CINDI and the solution SPEEDI Renault TMS, which is an add-on SPEEDI Renault CINDI supplemented and expanded.

With SPEEDI Renault CINDI integrates suppliers using SAP software into their SAP processes delivery schedules and pickup orders from Renault / Dacia including RAN and the additional data transmitted with them, thus establishing IT-supported and largely automated delivery schedule processing in accordance with this manufacturer's requirements.

SPEEDI Renault CINDI imports the pickup orders from Renault / Dacia into the supplier's SAP system in the form of DELORD messages (Delivery Order) as individual orders with reference to the respective delivery schedule. The SPEEDIThe SPEEDI RAN solution package routes the RAN and additional data through the SAP software so that it is displayed as required on the shipping notification/paper delivery bill and the delivery document during shipping and labels and forms are labeled correctly. Among other things, the RAN contains information on the material's suitability for assembly (vehicle, engine, or transmission parts), a unique alphanumeric code for the Renault / Dacia plants, and the RAN type, normal or emergency, which controls the way packages are marked during the delivery process.

SPEEDI Renault CINDI provides special functions that check the RAN, adjust call-off quantities in the delivery schedule, add the necessary data to the shipping notification and the electronic invoice (INVOICE), and enable "code-routing-clean" packaging of handling units (HU). The Renault-specific delivery bills and ET I1 and ET I9 labels in GALIA/ODETTE standard are also stored.

Complementary SPEEDI Renault TMS is handling the modified transport processing of Renault-Nissan consistently and transparently in the SAP system. In SPEEDI Renault TMS maps the three DELJIT messages into delivery order messages (DELORD) and then incorporates these DELORD messages into the IDoc basic type ORDERS05 in the SAP system. WSW Software provides the necessary mapping specifications for the transformation of the data.
