The right solution for your requirements
In the "Audi NLK Pearl Chain", the automobile manufacturer Audi combines the requirements of the "Audi Pearl Chain" in JIS processing and the "New Logistics Concept" (NLK) of the Volkswagen Group. The NLK implements the principles of the production system - cycle, pull, flow, perfection (= zero defects) - in logistics. Suppliers must therefore map the "pearl chain" and the "New Logistics Concept" (NLK) in their SAP system.
Meet requirements of the "Audi Pearl Chain" in JIS processing
The SPEEDI-solution package Audi NLK Pearl Chain provides all the necessary functions to meet these requirements. The prerequisite for this is the use of the solution SPEEDI NLK Pearl Chain, the SAP JIT component for pearl chain processing and functions from SPEEDI JIS for the configuration of the Audi NLK Pearl Chain.
The pearl chain process can thus be mapped completely integrated and modification-free in the SAP standard and executed smoothly - including the required forms and with the correct JIS scopes. For this purpose, the dispatch call-off in SPEEDI linked to the JIS call-off on the basis of a transport ID. The "logistical part number" that Audi communicates to the supplier via NLK dispatch call-off is automatically assigned to the correct in SPEEDI JIS mapped part groups, then the process data is built up for EDI processing. WSW Software recommends that the entire JIS processing be carried out in SPEEDI JIS.
A monitor clearly displays all information relevant to this process, with traffic lights signaling the current delivery status. A high level of detail is also ensured, and it is possible to jump to the relevant SAP documents at the click of a mouse. The creation of NLK transports, the conversion of the forwarding number into a VW forwarding number, the generation, checking and dispatch of delivery bills and the printing of the transport documents or the pick-up sheet (VDA 4939) is carried out with special SPEEDI-modules.
