The warehousing and provision of consignment materials is often handled by external service providers (EDL). In order to optimally map the process of supplier consignment, communication between all parties involved in the process is very important. Important functions are missing here in the SAP standard.
The remedy is the EDL MM solution of the SAP-based add-on SPEEDIwhich supplements the processing from the customer to the supplier with additional, important functions. For the communication of all goods movement processes (goods receipt, goods issue, withdrawal, damage/loss report, return delivery) as well as for the inventory report, the following functions are available in SPEEDI EDL MM, e-mail, fax and EDI are available as standard output media. The connection to SAP Ariba has been newly developed. Suppliers without an EDI-supported process can now view material stocks and movements at the push of a button.
